Retirement, Reimagined

About Retiree Roundup

Hello there! I’m Richard, a 69-year-old retiree, and I’ve been on this retirement journey for about six years now. I’ve been blessed with a wonderful wife, Wendy, who’s been by my side for 42 years. Together, we’ve built a life filled with good food, good wine, and a love for travel. We’re the proud parents of two incredible adult children and, perhaps the best job of all, grandparents to three beautiful granddaughters who keep us on our toes!

When I first retired, I quickly discovered that retirement is about so much more than just “kicking back and relaxing.” It’s about staying active, exploring new interests, and filling each day with things that bring us joy, meaning, and maybe a little adventure. Retirement is an exciting chapter, full of possibilities, and that’s exactly what inspired me to start Retiree Roundup.
